Our Production process
Developed in NYC: Every product starts with design and refinement in New York City.
Manufactured globally: Our partner factories span the U.S., Dominican Republic, Asia, and Europe.
Tailored to your brand: Each product is created to fit your resources, values, and business model.
STEP 1 - KICKOFF MEETING
We start with getting clarity on your concept, mission, business model, target customer, market positioning, your brand’s WHY and DNA, your Unique selling proposition and any other info that is valuable to understand what is the prefect product for you look like. We then help you finalize the designs.
STEP 2 - SOURCING
We provide a list of vendors that you can source with. We will guide you through the process so you can find the materials that are RIGHT for your products based on your specific needs. We can also do the leg work and source fabrics and trims for you. We work with both international and demotic vendors.
STEP 3 - PATTERN MAKING
Patterns are the blueprint for your product. We work with pattern makers that are experts in their category. We will only use a pattern maker that specializes in your product category to work on your project. We develop the patterns here in NY so we have full control and hand-on on the process, the quality and the end result. When completed you own your patterns.
STEP 4 -SAMPLE MAKING
We make the fit samples in NY so we can have better control over the process and the end result. We use these samples to test design ideas, construction and fit.
STEP 5 - FITTING
We conduct fitting in house with the present of your project manager and the pattern maker. We highly recommend to use a professional fit model (we will help you find the right one). Please note: we don’t allow to fit on yourself.
STEP 6 - PRODUCTION
We match the right factory to the right product and we do that at the early stage of development. Not every factory can make every product category, and/or offer the same cost, MOQ and quality levels, and using the right factory is key to producing a great product.
